This month, Janine Kovac is the author of Spinning: Choreography for Coming Home, a memoir about the death of a career but the birth of miracle twins. A former ballet dancer and software engineer, she is a founding member of the writing group Write on Mamas and a contributing editor of the anthology Mamas Write: 29 Tales of Truth, Wit, and Grit. In 2016 she was awarded the Elizabeth George Foundation Fellowship from Hedgebrook. The following year she co-founded Moxie Road Productions, a consulting firm that helps women bring their ideas into the world.
Thais will be on a panel discussion around PR "secrets" and the careful balance between the humble-brag, the annoying boast, and effective self-promotion.
